Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethical decision‑making.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Appropriate delegation to RNs, LPNs, and aides.
