Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in nursing required.
• Two years acute care nursing experience preferred in the past 10 years.
• Supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures care delivered respects patient's rights; maintains privacy and confidentiality.
• Advocates for patients and families to ensure care aligns with expectations.
• Promotes quality improvement and supports policy development to improve care and efficiency.
• Supports culture of safety; ensures compliance with policies and infection control measures.
• Maintains unit inventory and collaborates on management reports and budgets.
• Plans and schedules work, delegates assignments, and monitors staff utilization.

Education

Bachelor's degree required

Two years acute care nursing experience in past 10 years preferred

Supervisory or management experience preferred

RN license in State

BCLS certification

ACLS/PALS/PEARS may be required within one year in select areas
