Job summary

Advocate Health Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our team in delivering high‑quality patient care. You will apply the nursing process across the continuum of care, engaging patients and families to plan, implement, and evaluate treatment plans.

You will monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, document in the EHR, and participate in safety initiatives. A BSN is preferred; RN licensure and BLS are required; typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Engages in councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors conditions, updates care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates to improve outcomes.

• May administer medications and therapies per protocols and delegate appropriately.
