Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a contingent Registered Nurse for Henry Ford Staffing in Jackson, MI. This role covers Days and Midnights, up to 72 hours per month, with float opportunities across Henry Ford Health facilities.

You will provide nursing care under supervision and float to multiple locations as needed. Candidates should be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, with 2–3 years of related clinical experience, and current Michigan license plus BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).
