Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Progressive Care on a regional float. This contingent, part-time role requires about 24 hours per month with shifts in Days and Midnights, located in Jackson.

As part of Henry Ford Staffing, you will float across units, providing nursing care with flexibility and opportunity. Candidates should graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold Michigan RN licensure, and be able to float to multiple locations.

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current Michigan RN licensure and BLS/ACLS.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices.Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations.Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS
