Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for contingent, part-time shifts (24 hours per month) across multiple Detroit-area hospitals. You will float to designated locations, performing a range of nursing interventions under general supervision.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Michigan RN licensure, and current BLS and ACLS certification. Ideal candidates are flexible, patient-centered, and able to communicate effectively with teams and patients.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS
• TB, vaccines (i.e., flu).
