Job summary

Henry Ford Health Staffing is seeking a Registered Nurse for Progressive Care as a regional float at Genesys in Grand Blanc, MI. This contingent role is part-time with a 24-hour minimum per month and shifts available Days and Midnights. Location: Grand Blanc, MI (Genesys).

The RN will float to multiple Henry Ford Health locations, delivering care across units with flexible scheduling and premium pay. Requires degree from an accredited nursing program; 2–3 years of related experience preferred;

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two to three years of related clinical nursing experience preferred.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Handle nursing problems and an expanded set of nursing practices under supervision.
• Perform nursing interventions across varied clinical situations.
• Identify patient problems prior to changes in patient data and respond accordingly.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
