Job summary

Henry Ford Staffing, a system-wide contingent float pool, offers RNs the opportunity to work across multiple units within Henry Ford Health. The Jackson-based contingent role provides 24 hours per month minimum and shifts in Days and Midnights, with self‑Scheduling and minimal commitment to fit your life.

As a contingent RN, you will float to locations as staffing needs arise, maintaining a balance between patient care and work‑life flexibility while contributing to a nationally recognized

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).
