Job summary

Henry Ford Staffing is seeking contingent Registered Nurses to cover shifts across multiple Henry Ford Health facilities in Michigan. This role offers night shifts with a 72-hour monthly minimum, and nurses may float to five hospital locations including Detroit Main and other sites.

As a float pool RN, you will perform nursing interventions under general supervision, assess patient needs, and contribute to care plans across varied units within the Henry Ford Health system.

Job Description

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).

Contingent - 72 hours per month (minimum)

Shifts Available: Midnights

Location Requirement: Select five hospitals to float between (1 Zone + 1 Additional Site = 5 Hospitals)

Hospital locations to choose from:

Detroit Main; Novi, Southfield, St. John; Warren; West Bloomfield, Wyandotte

Henry Ford Staffing is a system-wide, contingent, float pool which offers the opportunity for an RN to work in a variety of settings throughout Henry Ford Health. Qualifications

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
• Willingness to float to multiple locations.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Certifications/Licensures Required

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS.
• Current ACLS, NRP, C-EFM (Inteleos or NCC)
• TB, vaccines (i.e., flu).
