The Nursing Department Director ensures every client receives the highest quality of nursing care, treatment, and medication as ordered by the attending physician or psychiatric nurse practitioner. This position is responsible for selecting, hiring, and supervising all Nursing Department staff, while also aiding in the development of service objectives, nursing policies, and job descriptions. The Supervisor maintains leadership that aligns with agency goals and ensures departmental adherence to all governmental and stakeholder regulations. The role also involves participating in budget development and collaborating with both internal and external departments to facilitate smooth facility operations and optimize patient care.
