Job Title: Associate Crisis Stabilization Clinician

Division/Program: Victorville: Desert Hill Crisis Residential Treatment

Starting Compensation: $60,000 - $64,480.00 USD Per Year

Working Location: Victorville, CA

Working Hours/Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (Rotating weekend schedule)

What You Bring to SBHG

• Valid California Driver’s License.
• Recent graduates are welcome.
• Applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or another related mental health field.
• Registered with the Board of Behavioral Science as an Associate.
• Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) or Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW).
• First Aid certification from a qualified agency such as the American Red Cross.

How You Will Make a Difference

• Assess clients at the start of treatment and review as needed.
• Develop and maintain treatment plans; conduct family collateral and discharge planning.
• Discuss goals and objectives of proposed treatment plans and establish a contract with the consumer.
• Interview consumers via walk‑in or telephone to determine needs or respond to potential suicide or other emergency events.
• Visit clients individually or with a team in various living situations to assess mental health needs, observe progress, provide counseling, gather data, and report significant changes in the client’s condition to designated staff.

Division/Program Overview

• The Crisis Residential Treatment (CRT) is a short‑term voluntary residential facility.
• Designed to help adult residents, ages 18‑59, who experience a psychiatric crisis to safely stabilize, recover, and transition back to the community.
• Services include:
  • 24/7 program
  • Therapeutic and mental health services
  • Rehabilitation/recovery services, including substance use rehabilitation services
  • Pre‑vocational or vocational counseling
  • Medication evaluation and support services
  • Daily exercise and health/wellness education
  • Crisis intervention
