Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse - PRN for our Health Center in Cleveland, NC. You will provide clinical care to employees and dependents, from acute visits to chronic condition management, in a dedicated onsite setting.

Flexibility to pick up shifts as needed; you will collaborate with physicians and teammates, perform tests and treatments, maintain records, and promote health with education and follow-up care. Prior ER/occupational health experience is valued.

Qualifications

• RN license in state of practice required
• BLS/ACLS certification required; may vary by contract scope
• COHN/COHN-S preferred and may be required for some sites

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to employees and dependents in the onsite health center
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments within scope of practice
• Administer medications and emergency care as needed
• Maintain patient records and infection control practices
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care

As a Registered Nurse - PRN, you'll provide care to client employees and their dependents in our Health Center located in Cleveland, NC.

The scheduled hours are PRN - as needed.

- Flexible PRN Opportunity: Pick up shifts as needed while enjoying the stability of a dedicated onsite health center and a collaborative, supportive team.

- Diverse Clinical Experience: Care for patients ages 2+ with a variety of needs, from acute visits and physicals to chronic condition management, without the pace and environment of a traditional hospital or urgent care setting.

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
