Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse to provide care at our Health Center in Archbald, PA.

The role covers PTO coverage with clinic hours Monday through Thursday 6:00a–4:30p, delivering care to client employees in a proactive, patient-centered environment. You will assess needs, perform treatments, collaborate with clinicians, maintain records, and promote health through education and follow-up care.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice required.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a RN in ER, occupational health, or ambulatory care.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification as required by contract scope.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient care needs and perform nursing evaluations.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for further care.
• Perform and document medical tests and treatments (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision).
• Administer medications and provide emergency care within scope of practice.
• Maintain equipment and infection control procedures to keep a safe environment.
• Maintain accurate patient health records and ensure completeness.
• Educate patients on health promotion and follow-up care.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

As a PRN Registered Nurse, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Archbald, PA.

Schedule

• PRN as needed to cover PTO
• Clinic Hours: Monday - Thursday 6:00a - 4:30p

What You’ll Do

• Assesses patient care needs, conducts nursing evaluations, and provides treatment within scope of practice
• Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare practitioners for further medical evaluation and care as needed
• Performs and documents medical tests, screenings, and treatments as defined in site contract (EKG, audiometry, spirometry, vision)
• Administers medications and emergency care within legal scope of practice
• Maintains medical equipment, ensures a clean and safe environment, and follows infection control procedures
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Educates patients on health promotion and participates in follow-up care
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Certificate from an accredited Nursing School or associate degree (A.S.) is required; Bachelor's degree (BSN) from four-year college or university is preferred
• Currently licensed Registered Nurse in state of practice required
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• At least three years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an emergency room, occupational health clinic or other ambulatory care clinic
