Job summary

Compass Surgical Partners seeks a Registered Nurse to support pre-op, PACU, and stepdown care at Horizon Surgery Center Beaches in Jacksonville Beach, FL. The RN will assess patients, deliver individualized perioperative care, monitor recovery, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

Requirements include a Florida RN license, 1 year of OR/perioperative experience, and BLS; ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current Florida RN license (unencumbered).
• 1+ year of OR or perioperative nursing experience within last 3–5 years.
• Current BLS; ACLS required within 6 months.
• Preferred: Member of AORN.

Role Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.

What You’ll Bring

• Graduate of an accredited RN program

• Current Florida RN license (unencumbered)

• At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3–5 years)

• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months)

• Preferred: Member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN)

• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills
