Job summary

Point Meadows Surgery Center, a modern ambulatory surgery facility in Jacksonville, FL, is hiring a Registered Nurse to support pre-op, PACU, and perioperative care. You will assess patients, deliver individualized nursing care, and collaborate with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an FL RN license, graduate from an accredited RN program, have 1 year of OR/perioperative experience, and current BLS; ACLS within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN program.
• Current FL RN license (unencumbered).
• At least 1 year of OR or perioperative nursing experience (within last 3-5 years).
• Current BLS (ACLS required within 6 months).
• Preferred: Member of the Association of Operating Room Nurses (AORN).
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in perioperative settings.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes during recovery.

Role Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) supports pre-op, PACU, and stepdown patient care at Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center. This position is responsible for assessing patients, delivering individualized nursing care, monitoring recovery, and collaborating with the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures and optimal outcomes.
