Essentia Health Surgery Center - Miller Hill is seeking a part-time nurse to provide patient care in the Ambulatory Surgery Center. The role supports the OR team, prioritizes patient flow, and ensures nursing standards are met in alignment with Joint Commission requirements.

The position requires RN licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications within specified timelines, and experience in an ASC/OR setting. Shift is 07:00–15:00, 25 hours per week, no holiday or call obligations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital or Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating Room
• Must have experience with electronic medical records
• This position will work 5 hours a day (25 hours a week) from 0900-1400.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. In conjunction with team members directs the patient flow of the day. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital or an Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating Room. Must have experience with electronic medical record.
