Job summary

Essentia Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Ambulatory Surgery Center in the United States. You will provide patient care per nursing standards and center policies, and communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other departments.

You will help direct daily patient flow with the team, contribute to facility mission, and meet applicable regulatory requirements. This role requires active RN licensure and relevant ACLS/PALS as indicated, with a possible remote/hybrid shift

Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital or ASC Operating Room.
• Must have experience with electronic medical record.
• BCLS certification within one month.

Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. In conjuction with team members directs the patient flow of the day. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies.

Education Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• Minimum of 2 years of experience within a hospital or a Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating Room.
• Must have experience with electronic medical record
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month

Licensure/Certification Qualifications

• Current nursing licensure in state(s) of employment
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification within one month
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification within one year
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification within one year
