Job summary

Endeavor Health’s Kellogg Cancer Center in Evanston, IL, seeks a Registered Nurse to provide compassionate oncology care in a fast-paced environment. This full-time role offers 4 x 10-hour shifts from Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays.

Responsibilities include administering chemotherapy, medications, and blood products; applying the nursing process; and supervising support staff to ensure high-quality patient care and safety. Illinois RN licensure and CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure required.
• Associate's in Nursing required; Bachelor's in Nursing strongly preferred.
• CPR certification from American Heart Association required; OCN/ONS provider card preferred.
• Oncology and/or Outpatient Infusion Center experience preferred.

• Independently provide safe, effective nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center.
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
• Administer chemotherapy, medications and blood products.
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety outcomes and promote high quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.00 - $55.80 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

• Position: Registered Nurse - Treatment, Kellogg Cancer Center

• Location: Evanston Hospital - Evanston, IL

• Full Time | 40 hours/week

• Hours: 4 days - 10 hour shifts between Monday - Friday (with 1 day off): 7:30am - 6pm, no weekend or holidays.

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for patients in the Kellogg Cancer Center

• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care

• Administer chemotherapy, medications and blood products

• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care

• Communicate and collaborate with healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care

• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Licensure: Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure, required.

• Certification: Current CPR Certification issued by American Heart Association required. OCN/ONS provider card preferred.

• Experience: Oncology and/or Outpatient Infusion Center experience preferred.
