Job summary

Ascension Health is seeking a PRN Night Shift RN for the Pediatric ICU at The Studer Family Children’s Hospital in Pensacola, FL. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate multidisciplinary care, and ensure timely execution of physician orders in a high-acuity environment.

Required are Florida RN licensure, BLS within 30 days, and a Diploma in Nursing. PICU experience is preferred; the facility offers support for discharge planning and comprehensive well-being resources.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Florida RN license required prior to hire date.
• Compact State license recognition accepted if applicable.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American HeartAssociation or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire dateor job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida required. Credentialed from State Board ofNursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtainedprior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time ofhire.

Additional Preferences

• One (1) year of PICU experience.
