Job summary

Incredible Health in Winston-Salem, NC is hiring a Registered Nurse for the PCU/Stepdown unit. The role requires ADN or higher and an active RN license, with preference for 1 year in stepdown, neurology, cardiac, or similar high-acuity settings.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients with continuous monitoring of vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans per orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on managing acute or chronic conditions and use of BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood glucose monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records in accordance with policies.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems
