Job summary

The Incredible Health team is actively recruiting for a Registered Nurse - PCU / Stepdown in Greeley, CO. This specialty care role covers medium to high acuity patients with a strong emphasis on monitoring, medication administration, and collaboration with a multi-disciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Must have ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license in good standing.
• 1 year in stepdown/progressive or high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation skills.
• Proficient with electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.

• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
