Job summary

Incredible Health in Bartlett, TN seeks a Registered Nurse for PCU/Stepdown with a strong background in high-acuity care. Night shifts available; full-time and part-time roles offered.

Responsibilities include supervising patients, medication administration, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. Ideal candidates hold an ADN or higher nursing degree, are licensed as RNs, and have BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, closely monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute or chronic conditions, including BiPAP/CPAP/home oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors.
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations.

Nurses with experience in any of the following areas are strongly encouraged to apply: Bariatric, BiPap monitoring, COVID, CVA, Cardiac Drip Management, DKA patients, High acuity patients, Post cardiac intervention, or Sheath pulls.
