Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license.
• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation; proficient in EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vital signs and IV drips.
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans with accurate orders.
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
• Educate patients and families on management of acute/chronic conditions and device use (BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen) and monitoring equipment.
• Maintain timely, accurate patient records in accordance with hospital policies.
