Incredible Health in McKinney, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for PCU/Stepdown to care for medium to high acuity patients. You will monitor vitals, manage IV drips, and implement complex treatment plans in collaboration with physicians and therapists.

The role supports education for patients and families, with emphasis on BiPAP/CPAP and home oxygen equipment, and requires a strong EMR proficiency and current BLS/ACLS certifications.

Qualificações

• ADN or higher nursing degree.
• Active RN license without encumbrances.
• 1 year of stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or similar high-acuity setting preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association.
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation.
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems.

Responsabilidades

• Provide care for medium to high acuity patients, monitoring vitals, IV drips, and indicators.
• Administer medications and execute complex treatment plans accurately and promptly.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals for optimal care.
• Educate patients and families on management of conditions and equipment use (BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen, monitors).
• Maintain accurate patient records per hospital policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree (ADN) or above in nursing

• 1 year experience in stepdown/progressive, neurology, cardiac, or another medium to high acuity setting preferred
• BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications from the American Heart Association
• Strong skills in hemodynamic monitoring, cardiac rhythm interpretation and other advanced nursing care practices
• Proficient in electronic medical record systems

• Provide specialized care for patients with medium to high acuity needs, closely monitoring vital signs, IV drips and other key indicators
• Administer medications and implement complex treatment plans, ensuring that medical orders are carried out accurately and promptly
• Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, case managers and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care
• Educate patients and their families on the management of their acute or chronic conditions, including the proper use of equipment like BiPAP/CPAP/Home Oxygen and vital sign or blood sugar monitors
• Maintain timely and accurate patient records, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and regulations
