Job summary

BayCare Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our PCU unit at St. Anthony's in St. Petersburg. The RN will provide patient-centered care in a hospital setting, following the nursing process and clinical standards.

Responsibilities include collaborating with the care team, updating plans of care with patients and families, and identifying patients at risk to prevent injuries. Shift is 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM; full-time.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license (RN) required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 6 months RN acute care experience.
• Associate Degree in Nursing required.

• Collaborates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a surgical/unit.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury and prepares room environment.

Position Description: RN

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
