BayCare Health System is seeking aRegistered Nurse to join the Med Surg Tele team at Winter Haven Hospital in Florida. The RN will provide patient-focused care in a hospital setting, using the nursing process and collaborating with the care team to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities include planning, prioritizing care with patients and families, and identifying at-risk patients while maintaining patient safety and professional accountability.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Florida (or eligible).
• Current BLS certification.
• Minimum 6 months acute care RN experience.

Position Description

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a medical/surgical unit
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.

Shift Hours: 6:45PM - 7:15AM

Shift: Shift 3

Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies

Weekend Work: Every Other

On Call: No
