BayCare Health System in Bartow, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Progressive Care Unit at Bartow Regional Medical Center. You will provide patient-centered care in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry setting with a focus on clinical excellence.

The RN collaborates with inter-disciplinary teams, maintains nursing processes, and ensures safe and effective care delivery. Shift hours are days, with opportunities for professional growth within a large healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license is required.
• BLS certification required.
• 6 months RN acute care experience or equivalent preferred.
• Associates Degree in Nursing is required.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with inter-disciplinary care providers to develop and implement the plan of care.
• Organizes and prioritizes care in Medical/Surgical/Telemetry units.
• Identifies patients at risk and prepares a safe room environment.

Position Description

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team. The Registered Nurse is also responsible for professional accountability and development.

• The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care
• Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in a Medical/Surgical/Telemetry unit.
• Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment.
