Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the PCU at Baptist Clay. The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of Cardiac or Telemetry experience and holds an active RN license with BLS certification.

Responsibilities include providing comprehensive nursing care, educating patients and families, coordinating care across disciplines, and advocating for patients. The role emphasizes teamwork and mission-driven care in a faith-based health system.

Qualifications

• Education/Degree requirements: ASN or BA/BS.
• Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• 1–2 years Cardiac/Telemetry/PCU experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients using the nursing process and coordinate care with staff.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate care with physicians and departments.
• Participate in staff meetings and unit activities.

Position Overview

Baptist Clay is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the PCU. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services.

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Additional Responsibilities
