Job summary

Baptist Health Beaches in the Jacksonville area seeks an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts. You will provide care to patients with medical, surgical or cardiac conditions, coordinate with physicians and staff, and advocate for patients and families.

Required are an AS in Nursing, active RN license and BLS; 1–2 years cardiac/telemetry/hospital experience preferred. A BA/BS is a preferred credential and a $3,750 sign-on bonus is available.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or cardiac conditions.

Baptist Beaches is looking for an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care background preferred.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization; supervision of care provided by supportive personnel and coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to critical patients that require a higher acuity of care.

Education/Degree Required

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Experience

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
