Job summary

Baptist Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Full-time Days in our PCU department in Jacksonville, FL. New hires are eligible for a $2,500 sign-on bonus. Nurses provide comprehensive care, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and educate patients and families on disease processes and plans of care.

Requirements include an AS in Nursing (BA/BS preferred), RN license, BLS, and 1–2 years of hospital/telemetry/cardiac experience. Primary location: Clay - Main Building.

Qualifications

• Education as an Registered Nurse with an AS in Nursing is required; a BA/BS is preferred.
• Diploma/ADN nurses may be considered with relevant experience; BLS is required.
• 1–2 years of hospital experience and telemetry/cardiac care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in the PCU department using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with physicians and hospital teams to coordinate patient care.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.

Baptist Clay is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Days in our PCU department. New Hires eligible for a $2,500 Sign on Bonus

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

• Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
