Job summary

Baptist Health Beaches is seeking an experienced PCU Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights. RN experience in Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care preferred. A $3,750 sign-on bonus is available for new hires.

Requires ASN or BA/BS with appropriate licensure and BLS. Primary location is Beaches - Main Building, Jacksonville, FL. The role involves providing comprehensive nursing care, coordinating with physicians and hospital teams, and supporting patients and families through their care plans.

Qualifications

• RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care background preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Education: ASN required, BA/BS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition.
• Embrace and uphold the hospital mission statement.
• Educate patients and families to their disease process and plan of care.
• Interact with physicians and other departments within the hospital.
• Coordinate care provided by ancillary services.
• Act as the patient advocate.
• Participate in staff meetings and other unit activities.

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to critical patients that require a higher acuity of care
