Baptist Health in Jacksonville seeks an experienced Registered Nurse for PCU on the Night shift. The RN will provide care for patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions, educate families, and coordinate care with physicians and support staff.

Requires an Associates of Science in Nursing; Diploma nurses must show 5+ years of progressive care experience. BLS is required and RN licensure is essential. Hospital experience and telemetry skills are highly valued.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required or in process
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry experience preferred
• Strong patient education and communication skills
• Experience in hospital setting preferred

Responsabilités

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical, or other conditions.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Act as patient advocate and coordinate care with physicians and ancillary services.
• Interact with physicians and hospital staff to ensure comprehensive care.
• Coordinate care provided by support services and document appropriately.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services. Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care. Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care. Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
