Job summary

Baptist Health - Clay is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU). The role requires delivering high-quality patient care, coordinating with physicians and staff, and educating families about conditions and plans of care.

Ideal candidates hold an AS degree in nursing, 5+ years of progressive care experience, and an active RN license with BLS. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is available for qualified new hires.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Nursing with 5+ years of progressive care.
• 1-2 years Cardiac and Telemetry experience preferred.
• Hospital experience required.
• Current RN license and BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to medical and surgical patients in PCU.
• Coordinate with physicians, nurses, and ancillary staff.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Advocate for patients and ensure safety and quality care.
• Participate in unit meetings and care planning.

Baptist Clay is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Nights in the PCU. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care preferred.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.
• Diploma Nurses must have 5+ years of progressive care.
