Job summary

Baptist Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for PCU on night shift. Responsibilities include caring for patients in Med/Surg, PCU, and telemetry, with 1–2 years of cardiac experience preferred.

The RN will educate patients and families, collaborate with physicians, and coordinate care with ancillary teams while serving as a patient advocate. A BSN is preferred and BLS is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• 1–2 years cardiac experience preferred.
• 1–2 years telemetry experience.
• Experience in Med/Surg, PCU, ICU or critical care.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients in PCU/telemetry, Med/Surg, or ICU settings.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Coordinate care with physicians and ancillary services.
• Participate in unit meetings and quality initiatives.
• Advocate for patients throughout the care process.
