Job summary

Baptist Health Beaches in Jacksonville is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Full-Time Days position in the PCU department. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care is preferred.

New hires are eligible for a $3,750 sign-on bonus. Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, coordinating care with the team, educating patients and families, acting as patient advocate, and ensuring safe, high-quality care. Certification requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Florida.
• 1–2 years cardiac/telemetry hospital experience.
• ACLS/BLS certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with varied medical conditions using the nursing process.
• Educate patients and families about disease and care plans.
• Coordinate care with physicians and ancillary services.

Baptist Beaches is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse for Fulltime Days in the PCU department. RN experience including Med/Surg, PCU or Critical Care is preferred.

Provides for patient needs as recognized through use of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) and the mission statement; organization and supervision of care provided by supportive personnel; coordination of care provided by ancillary services

• Including patients and significant others (SO)/families in developing an individualized plan of care
• Education of patients/SO/families to their disease process and plan of care
• Serves as patient advocate and responsible for providing care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition, including chronic medical and minor injuries or illnesses.

Certification- ACLS required within 6 months for the Adult EDs and Free Standing EDs

• PALS required within 1 year of hire for the Free Standing EDs and required within 6 months for WCH ED.

As a Registered Nurse For Baptist Health You Will

• Provide care to patients requiring treatment of any medical, surgical, or other condition

Education/Degree Required

Associate of Science in Nursing Or

Degree Preferred

Bachelor of Arts/Science (BA/BS)

Experience

• 1-2 years Cardiac Experience Preferred
• 1-2 years Telemetry Experience
• Hospital Experience

Licenses And Certifications

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Preferred
• Conscious Sedation Certification Preferred
• Certified Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) Preferred
• Licensed Registered Nurse Required
