Job summary

Hackensack Meridian Health in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care across diverse populations. You will administer medications, coordinate with the care team, and uphold evidence-based policies while focusing on safety and quality.

NJ RN license and BLS/CPR are required; BSN preferred or plan to obtain within 3 years; minimum six months of nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency.

Qualifications

• Current and valid New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse license.
• Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/CPR certification.
• BSN strongly preferred or must obtain within 3 years.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR active participation with Hackensack Meridian Health Nurse Residency Program.

Responsibilities

• Delivery of nursing practices according to evidence-based research, policies, and standards of care to provide safe, patient-centered care.
• Ongoing communication with patients, nursing colleagues and health care team regarding patient status, care, and plans.
• Responsible for optimal patient/guest satisfaction and care experience.
• Medication administration utilizing clinical documentation technology to ensure safe delivery of medications.
• Interdisciplinary collaboration in management of patient care from admission to discharge.
