Job summary

You will use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, document in EHRs, and collaborate with the care team. The role may float within the service area to meet patient needs. BSN preferred; BLS required; 1 year of experience typical.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) served
• BLS certification required; additional certifications may be requested based on unit
• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans and collaborates with the care team
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs
• Demonstrates effective communication and appropriate delegation
• Pursues professional development and maintains certifications
• Adheres to ANA Code of Ethics and ethical decision-making
