Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; telehealth/virtual practice licensing where applicable.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• BSN preferred and ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care with patients and families.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and maintains accurate EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs and support interdisciplinary care.
• Demonstrates effective communication, feedback, and delegation within the team.
