Job summary

The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Hospital Authority is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care across the continuum, applying evidence-based nursing practices and participating in quality initiatives. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, monitor patient progress, and ensure accurate documentation in the electronic health record.

Required is graduation from a Board of Nursing approved program with an active RN license and BLS certification; BSN is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in applicable state(s).
• Telehealth/virtual practice requires licensure in client locations.

Responsibilities

• Engage in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care and apply evidence-based practices.
• Utilize nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care while engaging patients and families.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans; collaborate with care team to influence outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and maintain timely EHR documentation.
• Float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrate effective communication, feedback, and conflict resolution to support team collaboration.
