Qualifications

• Graduate of Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• BLS certification; RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where providing care.
• Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.

• Engages in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
