Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network is seeking an Registered Nurse to provide holistic patient care within a collaborative team. The RN will assess needs, plan and implement care, and evaluate outcomes in alignment with our Professional Practice Model.

A BSN within 5 years of hire is preferred for new hires; Ohio licensure, BLS, and ACLS timelines are defined. Strong communication and safety focus are essential as the team coordinates care across units.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in Ohio
• BLS certification required prior to patient contact
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas
• BSN within 5 years of hire for new nurses

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and plan individualized care using the Christ Hospital model
• Implement evidence-based nursing actions with accountability and safety
• Educate patients and families, coordinating with the multidisciplinary team
• Evaluate care effectiveness and adjust plans based on patient response
• Lead and participate in handoffs, rounds, and care conferences
• Demonstrate leadership, teach peers, and pursue professional development
