Job summary

The Christ Hospital Health Network in Ohio is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive patient care following the hospital's model of care. Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Ohio is required.
• BSN must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• BLS certification is required prior to patient contact; ACLS within 6 months in certain units.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates nursing skills to complete a holistic assessment of the patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and education needs.
• Collaborates with the care team using SBAR and handoffs; plans and prioritizes patient care.
• Performs and delegates nursing actions based on orders with accountability and critical thinking.
• Provides patient and family education; responds to emergencies with precision and safety.
• Documents care accurately in the electronic medical record; participates in performance improvement.
