Job summary

The Christ Hospital is seeking an experienced registered nurse to provide holistic patient care under the hospital’s Professional Practice Model. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care, collaborate with the team, and advocate for patient and family involvement in care decisions.

Responsibilities include developing care plans, communicating via SBAR, and delivering education to patients and families.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in Ohio with current credentials.
• BLS required prior to patient contact; ACLS within 6 months for step-down/ICU.
• BSN must be completed within 5 years of hire.
• Experience in hospital nursing and patient-family centered care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients’ physical, psychosocial, spiritual, and education needs.
• Plan, coordinate, and revise the multidisciplinary care plan with the patient/family.
• Communicate plans using SBAR and ensure effective handoffs.
• Provide ongoing, individualized education to patients and families.
• Respond to emergencies with precision and adhere to safety protocols.
• Document nursing care accurately in the EMR and ensure quality outcomes.
