Job summary

Tenet Healthcare seeks a registered nurse to provide direct clinical patient care, coordinate multi-disciplinary plans, and supervise staff per shift. The role supports the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure high-quality, safe, and appropriate nursing care and efficient resource management related to patient care.

The position requires graduation from an accredited School of Nursing and active RN licensure, with required certifications including BLS, ACLS within specified timelines, CPI, PALS, and

Qualifications

• RN with current applicable state licensure/permit.
• BLS certification required upon hire for all nursing positions.
• ACLS certification required within 3 months of hire for Emergency Dept & Medical Response Team RNs.
• CPI required within 3 months of hire for Emergency Dept. RNs.
• PALS required within 3 months of hire for Emergency Dept. and Float Pool RNs.
• NRP required within 3 months of hire for L&D, Mother/Baby and NICU RNs.
• Preferred: Academic degree in nursing (Bachelor's or Master's).

Responsibilities

• Coordinates patient care for assigned patients utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach.
• Develops plan of care for newly admitted patients and updates as conditions change.
• Delivers nursing interventions aligned with the medical plan of care.
• Performs procedures in the specialty service area.
• Documents nursing care accurately in patient records and forms.
• Performs related duties as required.
