Job summary

Tenet Healthcare seeks an experienced nursing leader to support the Chief Nursing Officer, overseeing nursing practice, staffing, and patient care across hospital units. The role requires coordination, implementation, and evaluation of nursing services to ensure safety and quality.

Ideal candidates will have an RN with at least 2 years in progressive hospital leadership, a BSN (MSN preferred), and an active license with BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Education: RN with associate degree and a BSN preferred.
• Experience: 2 years of progressive hospital management.
• Certifications: current nursing license and AHA BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to the senior executive (CNO) for nursing and patient care across units.
• Assist in assessing, planning, coordinating, implementing, and evaluating nursing practice.
• Maintain 24/7 responsibility for director’s assigned areas.
• Ensure high quality, safe care and appropriate resource management for patients.
