Job summary

Atlantic Health System in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse to join the care team. You will collaborate with physicians and nurses to treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities, monitor patients, administer medications, document care, and educate patients and families.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program and RN licensure; BLS certification is required, with BSN preferred and ACLS as applicable after experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
• ASN must complete BSN within five years of start date.
• Master's in nursing or related field preferred.
• 1+ year of nursing experience; ACLS certification may be required after start.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans with the healthcare team.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
