Job summary

Atlantic Health System in New Jersey is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with physicians and care teams to treat patients with varying conditions. The role includes monitoring patients, administering medications, documenting care, and participating in planning and evaluation of nursing care plans.

Required: RN licensure in NJ, graduation from an accredited nursing program, and BLS; BSN preferred, ACLS may be preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• All ASN must complete their BSN studies within five years of their start date.
• Master's degree in nursing or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in Nursing or relevant area.
• ACLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
