Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with clinicians in treating patients with injuries, illnesses or disabilities. You will monitor patients, administer medications, document care, consult with providers and educate patients to support recovery.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, current NJ RN licensure, and BLS. Preferred BSN or higher, ACLS and 2+ years of nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
