Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to collaborate with a healthcare team to treat patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities. The role involves monitoring patients, administering medications, maintaining records, and educating patients as part of comprehensive care.

The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with current RN licensure and required certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certification.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (preferred).
• Master's degree in nursing or related field (preferred).
• 1+ year of experience in Nursing or relevant area (preferred).
• Specialty certification i.e. CEN, CPEN (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintains accurate, complete health care records and reports.
• Administers medications to patients and monitors them for side effects and reactions.
• Prescribes assistive medical devices and related treatments.
• Monitors, reports, and records symptoms or changes in patient conditions.
• Assesses, implements, plans, or evaluates patient nursing care plans by working with healthcare team members.
• Records patient vital signs and medical information.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
