Job summary

Abrazo Scottsdale Campus seeks a registered nurse to provide professional bedside care and coordinate care planning within the unit. The nurse will supervise staff, assess patient needs, and ensure safe and effective nursing practice in alignment with the nursing process.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, planning outcomes, implementing orders, and contributing to quality improvement. A nursing degree and relevant certifications are required, with ACLS/PALS as applicable by department.

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited nursing school.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities are required.
• Able to perform in a fast-paced hospital environment and handle pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnoses from assessments and data.
• Set realistic, patient-focused outcome goals with input from patient/family.
• Individualize care plans based on patient needs and circumstances.
• Implement orders and ensure they are appropriate for current status.
• Other tasks as assigned by hospital.
